Cynthia E. Brewster
graduated from the
University of
Arkansas in 1978,
and Memphis State
University School of
Law in 1982. She was
admitted to practice
law in Tennessee in
1982. She practiced
in Tennessee from
1982 until 1984. In
1984, Cynthia was
admitted to practice
law in the State of
Arizona where she
practiced until
1989.

In 1989
Cynthia was admitted
to the Colorado Bar and has practiced in
Colorado since that
time. She is
admitted to all
courts in the State
of Colorado. Cynthia
is currently in good
standing and fully
licensed in the
State of Arizona and
the State of
Colorado.
She has extensively
practiced in the
fields of family
law, and child
protection law.
Since 1989, she has
concentrated
primarily in the
field of family law,
including child
custody, support and
maintenance, and
premarital
agreements and
dependency and
neglect cases.
Cynthia also
practices
Collaborative Law,
which allows parties
in a divorce to
resolve all their
issues without going
to court. Cynthia is
also a trained
mediator, and has
mediated all types
of divorce cases,
from the most simple
to complex financial
matters.
Cynthia has
represented children
in family law cases
as both a Special
Advocate and Special
Representative. She
has co-chaired
Guardian ad litem
training programs
and foster care
parent training
programs. Cynthia
has participated in
post-graduate
courses in the
Masters of Social
Work program.
Cynthia is an
attorney/mediator
and member of the
Colorado Council of
Mediators and
Mediation
Organizations, the
Metropolitan Denver
Interdisciplinary
Committee, where she
is currently serving
on the board of
directors, the
Colorado
Collaborative Law
Professionals and
Rocky Mountain
Collaborative Law
Professional
Practice Group. She
is currently
co-chair for the
annual
Attorney/Mediator
Dialogue Conference
and is on the Board
of Directors of the
Colorado
Collaborative Law
Professionals.
